The Lower Right picture is very faded, but the rest are of better quality.   Upper Left:  "Præsenter gevær" (Present guns).  Upper Right:  "I gardstilling" (In guard position).  Lower Left: "Naturen beundres" (Admiring the nature).  Lower Right:  "Rast" (Rest).  

This is the third and last page under the title of "Hvalsmoen 1921-22". Upper Left:  "Præsenter gevær" (Present guns).  Upper Right:  "I gardstilling" (In guard position).  Lower Left: "Naturen beundres" (Admiring the nature).  Lower Right:  "Rast" (Rest). Hvalsmoen today is a large Army base with engineer corps, radio corps, and schools. The large barn is possibly still used as an arsenal.


I Kristiania - 1922. (In Oslo - 1922)
The next three pages are entitled "I Kristiania - 1922".  In addition to Georg's mention of the Norwegian Ski Patrol he also mentioned serving in the "King's Guard" (In Oslo by the Royal Castle).
Upper Left:  "I galla - foran slotsvagtstuen" (In full dress uniform - in front of the house of the Royal Castle Guard).  Upper Right:  "Søle - kokker" (Messy cooks).  Middle Left:  "I Bivuak - fra" (In bivouac - from).  Middle:  "Løitn. Holck og Serg. Lehne".  Middle Right:  "Utenlandske generaler" (Foreign generals).  Lower Left:  "Kongen flykter" (The King flees (That is what he did on April 9, 1940, when Germans arrived!)).  Lower Right:  "Tause Akershus" (Silent (guns at) Akershus Castle (in Oslo)).

Upper Right:  "Som barnepike" (As a nurse).  Lower Left: "Pipperviken (utsikt fra Akershus)" (Pipperviken, view from Akershus (Castle) -nice old view, part of Oslo Harbour). Lower Right:  "Pappas yngste" (Pappa's youngest), Georg Jørgensen Ringereide is sitting holding a baby (third from the Right).
